How To Optimise Your Facebook Profile Or Page To Look Professional.

How To Get People Accept Your Facebook Friend Request and Optimizing Your Facebook Profile To Look Professional.

We all know that Facebook is the most used social media platform currently with over 2 Billion Users and millions of active monthly users.

You are eligible to have a Facebook account if you are thirteen years and above, which means that under 13 can't access Facebook. Remember that teenage period starts from thirTEEN. The age restriction that's placed by Facebook isn't properly checked and this has resulted in under 13 children creating Facebook accounts with fake DOBs.

A lot of other adults and teenagers don't know how to properly optimize their Facebook account. Most people don't even know that they can earn from their Facebook account, they see the platform as a site for cruise, yes! There are people who also cruise on Facebook but also earn as a result of that cruise. We call them memers or humorists. You can't earn on Facebook if your profile hasn't been optimized properly. Take a look at the Facebook profile of your favorite content creator, what do you notice there? Orderliness right? Most of them have lots of followers and will only allocate a space for you out of the 5k friends limit Facebook set if they check your profile and it speaks quality and value. Some don't even check your profile, they either accept or pend it depending on these facts that I am going to show you below.

Your Name.

Your name on Facebook speaks a lot about you. What names do you bear on Facebook?
If I get a notification from Facebook that one Mhiz Preshy Bankz sent me a friend request, or one Yúng Frosh sent me a friend request, it's automatically a big turn off for me. And I will do two things, either I leave the friend request on hold or delete it. You know that if your friend request is deleted, you would have to wait for a year before sending that person another request.

Now, imagine that I saw a notification from Facebook that a one Joseph Chisom sent me a friend request. There will be this reflex in me to either tap the confirm button or most times lead me to greater curiosity to know more about the person by checking their timeline.

Note this Facebook Nomenclature.
• Always use your real name. Your account may be banned.

Unless your niche is humor, don't use a humorous name. If I am a humorist and I see someone with the username @Fried Beans, I will be moved to check out the person's timeline, why? That name resonates with my niche. Or I am a computer programmer and I get a friend request from someone with the username @Joseph Codes, I will also be moved to check out the person's timeline. Your niche can determine your username, but this isn't an entirely great idea.

Use Names that people will tend to remember, and not that popular. You know there are names that are very popular among people, the names like Favor. If you bear such names, make it unique. People do notice. Perhaps add your middle name that isn't very popular and if need be, shorten it to what people can easily remember and type.

Your DP.

Your Display Picture is your profile picture and cover photo. The power of a good DP is often underrated. It doesn't necessarily need to speak about your niche, it should be clear, with your Own Picture there. Preferably a headshot, I learnt that from Affiliate Marketing.

The type of DP you have will either turn people off or bring them to you.

Your Bio.

This is the most underrated and yet important part of your online presence. Sometimes, when I look at people's bio, I shake my head in dismay. How on Earth will a reasonable human add the statement "Fuck haters." In their bio? You see stuff like, “Ion snub, Ion do hook-ups, bad bitch, Wanna know more about me? DM, Let's Make momma proud, We rock, money minded” this and many more have I seen on people's bio. You have this in your bio and you want great personalities to accept your friend request?

Your bio is a brief intro about you, that is where most people know the type of person you're. It is where people are supposed to know what you do, what skill you have and your bio must resonate with every part of your profile most especially the next point I will tell you.

Have a look at the bio of the person you want to be like, your favorite content creator, that person with a huge audience, does it look messy? Then why should yours be messy?

This is an example of a great bio;

Certified Writer | Educationist | Blogger | Digital Markter | Memer.

Lover of God.

How does the above bio look? Professional and yet welcoming right?

If you can't write a great bio, yourself, get someone to do it for you.

Your Posts.

You can't have a profile without a reasonable post on your timeline. If need be, pin a post that helps people to know you more and what you do.

Your profile shouldn't be a place that houses any type of tag from anyone, filter your tags. Facebook has given you the power to do so. Review any tag before they appear on your timeline. And when you post, don't just post unrelated contents, post stuff that people will relate to easily.

Comments.

You sent a very popular person a friend request on Facebook, how often do you engage their posts? You just read their posts and skip without a trace. When you eventually decide to react, you use the thumb button. Why?
Most people don't know the power of comments, it makes your voice known. You don't have a huge audience, you see a content creator who has a huge audience and his posts resonate with what you do, contribute to it. Make a constructive comment, you will even get more friend requests from people. This was the very first step I used in getting people to send and accept requests from me.

Don't go about fighting people online, it will reduce you. Remember, people are watching.

Don't Go About Messaging Them To Accept Your Friend Request.

Facebook usually sends such messages to Spam and most people don't even check their Spam folder, I rarely check mine.

If you want to message them, let them know how you enjoy their contents. Don't send them messages to accept your request, you may be blocked.

In summary;

Your name.
Your DP.
Your Bio.
Your Posts.
Your Engagements.

Check out the profile of great people on Facebook and see how they optimized their profiles.

Your profile will attract people to you. It will make you get connections that you never expected.

In addition to it. Here are ways you can make money out of your Facebook account if it is optimized.

• Running adverts for brands.
• Brand Influencing.
• Working as a page manager.
• Selling digital products or even physical products.
• Selling your services i.e writing for people, selling poems.
And lots more.

It can only work if you have an optimized Facebook account.
